Custom #4

Last one! This is Signo de Exclamaciรณn, which means exclamation mark in Spanish. I named him this because of his facial marking, which was actually a mistake but a mistake I’m now in love with! His plain black with a slightly lighter mane and tail, and grey hooves. He has one very pale blue eye and a brown eye.

Custom #3

This guy is actually a paint-over, not a full custom but he definitely took a while! ๐Ÿ˜†

I painted on Native American war horse markings, and followed this photo, so they are accurate. I didn’t use all of them, just a few. ๐Ÿ™‚

His name is Chitto, which means brave in the Native American language called Creek.

I’m so happy with all his markings, especially the ring around his eye and the handprint!

Custom #2

Meet Atlas! Atlas is a pure black Andalusian stallion, with brown eyes and no white. I’m really thrilled with this boy, his paint is nice and smooth, and he looks like a horse I saw a few years ago at El Caballo Blanco, a show with performing Andalusians.

This is the poster that was the inspiration for Atlas!

I have some new customs that I haven’t posted yet on CWS! First up is CWS Phantom of the Opera. He is a piebald Gypsy Vanner, with three socks, hoof stripes, a brown eye and a blue eye. He has a white marking on his face that I painted to look like the mask the Phantom wore! I also painted his coat to make it look fluffy, like it would be in winter. He’s certainly not perfect, but I love him!

Updates+New Weekly Post!

Sorry I haven’t been too active here recently, everything’s settling down so I’ll have more time to post!

Anyways, here are some updates!

I made some stablemate pony pouches,

This one fits foals, This one fits ponies and larger foals, such as the SM Scrambling Foal,

This is for larger, longer stablemates, such as the SM Cantering WB and TB
And this fits average sized stablemates!

Also some of my horses previously in my barn have been put up on shelves! They’ll definitely still appear in regular posts, barn photography and photo stories, but they won’t have a permanent place in the barn.

Also I completed a new custom, but he’ll have his own post ๐Ÿ˜‰

Anyway, the new thing I will be trying to post weekly is CWS Spotlight! It’s going to be a short post on something in my barn, e.g riders, horses, a feature of the barn, a piece of tack, etc and will give some info on it. And don’t worry, Caption This! Will still be running as of next week ๐Ÿ™‚

And here’s this weeks CWS Spotlight!

This saddle is a LSQ Western saddle made by my friend, in  2010. It made it’s first live show debut in January, this year, in a western trail set up which got Reserve Supreme Champion in novice performance, beaten by my own Horseball set up!  I love this saddle so so much, because I’ve had it since I really first got into Breyers and it’s very special to me. It also has three saddle pads, a green one with black leather accents with came with the saddle, the purple one in the photo which I made, and a gorgeous cross stitch pad I won from a raffle in a live show!

The set also came with a tooled breastplate and bridle with beautiful silver accents!

What would you guys like to see in the next CWS Spotlight?

Here’s a couple small projects I’ve been working on recently, a first aid book and a wormer, made from Desktop Stables first aid printables.

The decoration on the corner of the stable is made from an oversized western saddle concho.

This is a little brochure holder I made, and it has four different horse riding pamphlets in it!

I’ve also been working on two customs, the first is a steel grey splash pinto mustang, called Windforce

The second one is definitely my favourite custom I’ve ever done, she is a minimal black tobiano and she’s called Lady Luck.

Hope you like them! ๐Ÿ™‚
